Answer:

We know that,

Volume of cube=a^3=1000 cubic cm

a=10 cm

Total Surface area of Cube=6a^2=6×(10)^2

=6×10×10=600 sq cm

This is the best possible answer

The volume of a cube is 1000 cubic cm. Find its total surface area.?

{\huge{\underline{\underline{\sf{\blue{Solution:-}}}}}}

Let a cm be the edge of the cube .

Then,

 volume  \: of  \: the  \: cube = a ^{3}  \: cm ^{3}

Given,

volume \: of \: the \: cube = 1000 \: cm ^{3}

Therefore,

a ^{3}  = 1000 \: cm ^{3}

 =(10^{3} ) \: cm ^{3}

Thus,

a = 10 cm

Now,

Total  \: surface \:  area =  {6a}^{2}

 = 6 \times (10) ^{2} \:   {cm}^{2}  = 6 \times 10 \times 10 \:  {cm}^{2}

 = 600 \:  {cm}^{2}

Therefore,

The total surface area of the cube is

 =  600 \:  cm ^{2}
