Step-by-step explanation:

side of square = 64 m

perimeter of square = 4 * side

= 4 * 64

= 256 m

Length of the rectangle plot = 70 m.

let, breadth = x.

perimeter of the rectangle = 2*(70 + x)

AS THE PERIMETER OF BOTH ARE SAME

so, 2*(70 + x) = 256

or, 140 + 2x = 256

or, 2x = 256 - 140

or, x = 116/2 = 58 m

area of squre = 64*64 = 4096 m^2

area of rectangle = 70*58 = 4060 m^2

the area of squre is greater than the area of rectangle by 4096 - 4060 = 36 m^2.
