It is because the flowers of pollination contain the female part(gynocyium) of the plant

The male part alone is incapable of fertilisation alone

The male part is usually pollinated to the female part and thus fertilisation comes into account

Hope it helps u

And if it does then plz make it as the brainlist answer

Answer:Because of the fusion of two gametes.

Explanation: When the pollination takes place through any medium, lets say insect, the male gamete ( pollen grains ) sticks to the body of the  insect and is transported to the female part of the flower of another or the same plant . The pollen grains then reaches the female gamete ( egg ) through the pollen tube and fuses with it . Hence , fertilization takes place when pollination takes place
