<b>Heya mate. (^_-). Solution below.
====================================

• Let the daughter's present age be 'x'.

• 10 years ago from now -

Daughter's age = x - 10

Mother's age = 4(x - 10) = 4x - 40

• At present,

Daughter's age = x - 10 + 10 = x

Mother's age = 4x - 40 + 10 = 4x - 30

• 10 years after now -

Daughter's age = x + 10

Mother's age = 4x - 30 + 10 = 4x - 20

• But, according to the question, 10 years after, mother's age will be twice her daughter's age.

=> 4x - 20 = 2(x + 10)

=> 4x - 20 = 2x + 20

=> 4x - 2x = 20 + 20

=> 2x = 40

=> x = 40/2

=> x = 20

• So, the present age of the daughter = x = 20 years.

• And, her mother's present age -
= 4x - 30
= 4 × 20 - 30
= 80 - 30
= 50 years.

<marquee>Hence, your answer is 20 years.</marquee>
