Solution :

∴ (100 - 100) / (100 - 100)

= (10² - 10²) / (10.10 - 10. 10)

= {(10 + 10) (10 - 10)} / {10 (10 - 10)}

= (10 + 10) / (10)

= 20 / 10

= 2

Where did we do wrong?

Though the proof looks alright, there is a wrong property used in step 2, where we have calculated the division of (10 - 10) by (10 - 10), i.e., division of 0 by 0 which results undefined.

Hey bro.., here is the solution

∴ (100 - 100) / (100 - 100)

= (10² - 10²) / (10.10 - 10. 10)

= {(10 + 10) (10 - 10)} / {10 (10 - 10)}

= (10 + 10) / (10)

= 20 / 10

= 2
