The diameter of conical flask is 140 cm.

100 Jugs full of water are emptied in a conical flask. the height of water is 75 cm. If each jug contains 3850 c of water.

We have to find the diameter of flask.

∵ Each jug contains 3850 cm³ of water.

∴ volume of 100 jugs would be = 3850 × 100 cm³ = 385000 cm³

here, volume of conical flask = volume of 100 jugs

Volume of conical flask = 1/3 πr²h

⇒385000 = 1/3 × 22/7 × r² × 75

⇒385000 × 7 = 22 × 25 × r²

⇒4900 = r²

⇒(70)² = r²

⇒70 = r

Hence the radius of conical flask is 70 cm.

Therefore the diameter of conical flask is 140 cm.

Answer:

Volume of the conical flask = 1/3πr²h.

⟹ 385000 = 1/3 × 22/7 × r² × 75.

⟹ 385000 × 7 = 22 × 25 × r².

⟹ r² = 4,900.

⟹ r = √4,900.

⟹ r = 70cm.

Hence, the diameter of the conical flask = 2d = 2 × 70cm = 140cm.
