let volume of O3 in 100ml mixture be x
so, volume of O2 will be 100-x.
decomposition of O3 will follow
2O3 -> 3O2
so, 2 volume of O3 will give 3 volume of O2
so, 50% of x =0.5x
as 2 mole will give 3
so, 1 will give 3/2
so, 0.5x will give 3/2 ×0.5x=0.75x
so, new volume of O3 after decomposition=0.5x
new volume of O2 =0.75x (from O3)+(100-x){earlier}
so, the new volume 0f the mixture will be 0.5x+0.75x+(100-x) =115
or, 1.25x-x=115-100
or, 0.25x=15
so, x=15/0.25 =60
so, volume of O3 in the mixture was 60ml.
so, new volume if O3 in new mixture=0.5×60=30ml.
