⬛ Economic development basically means the development in economy of the country .

⬛ Economy consists of not only the currency but also the amount of capital .

⬛ Economic development can be said as the improvement in the economy in a particular period of time .

⬛ In India , the economic development is slow since we are an agriculture dependent country .

⬛ 50 % of our population is engaged in the agricultural sectors and hence we do not produce machine goods very often .

⬛ Another factor is the population explosion which is a serious cause of concern .

⬛ The population explosion in India is increasing at such a fast rate that India is expected to beat the population in China by 2500.

⬛ U.S.A is the most developed country in the World because in that country , development is based on the profit from industries and hence much labour is not required for the purpose .

⬛ Vacancy of jobs make U.S.A a very strong economical country whereas in India we cannot find vacancy at all and many people are still jobless .

⬛ We can prevent this problem by promoting education and spreading awareness about population control . Only then can economic development take place .

⬛ Economic development is not something that is achievable in one year , in one month , in one day but it is a lengthy process requiring strict and strategic employment , trade and other factors which help in economic growth .

⬛ The ways to increase the economic development in India are :-

→ By increasing capital formation .

→ By setting up industries .

→ By reducing the population .

→ Increasing entrepreneurship .

⬛ The ways to increase economy is only achievable if the Government handles the situation carefully and takes proper steps .
