Parallel circuit is used because it distribute current along all the appliances connected in a parallel circuit and it is also beneficial because if one appliance in a circuit gets fused , then others appliances not get affected

DID YOU MEAN PARALLEL CIRCUIT USED IN HOUSE-HOLD CIRCUIT,IF IT IS SO HERE'S THE ANSWER.
*intensity of electric curerent will be different.
*potential difference will be same.
*total resistance decreases.
*individual controlling is possible.
*working of one equipment doesnot affect the other.
