Given:

1000 रुपये रकमेवरील 5% दराने 2 वर्षांसाठी

To find:

सरळव्याज आणि चक्रवाढव्याज यातील फरक किती रुपये असेल

Solution:

The sum of money, P = Rs. 1000

The no. of years, n or T = 2 years

The rate of interest, R = 5% p.a.

Compound Interest:

A = P [1 + \frac{R}{100} ]^n

\implies A = 1000 [1 + \frac{5}{100} ]^2

\implies A = 1000 \times  [\frac{105}{100} ]^2

\implies A = 1000 \times  [1.05]^2

\implies A = 1102.50

and

C.I. = A - P = 1102.50 - 1000 = 102.50

Simple Interest:

S.I. = \frac{P \times R \times T}{100} = \frac{1000\times 5 \times 2}{100}  = 10 \times 10 = 100

Now,

The required difference is,

= C.I. - S.I.

= Rs. 102.50 - Rs. 100

= Rs. 2.50

Thus, the difference between simple interest and compound interest for 2 years at the rate of 5% on Rs.1000 is → Rs. 2.50.

Given :-

  • Principal = P = Rs.1000
  • Time = T = 2 years .
  • Rate = R = 5% per annum .

To Find :-

  • Difference between CI and SI in 2 years ?

Answer :-

we know that,

  • Difference (D) between CI and SI for 2 years = {P * (R)² } / (100)²

putting values we get,

→ D = {1000 * (5)²} / (100 * 100)

→ D = 25/10

→ D = Rs 2.5 (Ans.)
