Given :- 100x² - 20x + 1 = 0 factorise by quadratic equation ?

Solution :-

→ 100x² - 20x + 1 = 0

factorising by splitting the middle term,

→ 100x² - 10x - 10x + 1 = 0

→ 10x(10x - 1) - 1(10x - 1) = 0

taking (10x - 1) common,

→ (10x - 1)(10x - 1) = 0

now, if we want roots of quadratic equation , put them equal to zero, then

→ 10x - 1 = 0

→ 10x = 1

→ x = (1/10)

hence, roots of quadratic equation are (1/10, 1/10) .
