We recall that the degree to radian conversion is,

x^{\circ}\times \frac{\pi}{180}=y\ radian

Given: 105^{\circ}

105^{\circ}\times \frac{\pi}{180}=\frac{7\pi}{12}\ radian

Given

  • 105 °

To find

  • convert the given degree measure to Radian measure.

Solution

we are provided with the degree measure of angle and are asked to convert it into Radian measure or standard unit of angle.

we know that the Radian is defined as the arc length by the radius of a unit circle. Radian is the SI unit of angle which is used in all scientific calculations. Also we know that the complete angle that is 360 degree is equal to 2π radians

ie, 360° = 2π rad

or, 180° = π rad

or, 1° = π/ 180 rad

therefore we can immediately convert 105 degree to radian as follows,

rad = 105× π/ 180

or, rad = 105π/180

or, rad = 7π/12

or, rad = 1.832
