10L of milk is to be packed in small bottles ,each one of which can hold 250 mL. How many such bottles are required ?

Amount of milk= 10L = 10000 mL
Capacity of each bottle= 250 mL
No. of bottles= amount of milk/ capacity of each bottle
= 10000/250
= 40 bottles

∴ 40 bottles are required
