SP of 10 tables = CP of 8 tables

Let us take the cost of 1 table as 1

hence,

CP of 8 tables = 8

SP of 10 tables = 8 [as CP of 8 = SP of 10]

CP of 10 tables = 10 (we have considered 1 table to cost 1)

The shopkeeper acquired a loss

Loss = CP - SP

Loss = 10 - 8

Loss = 2

loss\% =  \frac{loss}{cp}  \times 100

 \frac{2}{10}  \times 100

Loss % = 20%
