State whether the following mathematical statements are true or false with proper explanation:
(1) The value of  2 \sin \theta can be  (a + \dfrac{1}{a} ), where  a is a positive number, and  a \neq 1 .
(2)  \cos \theta = \dfrac{a^2 + b^2}{2ab} , where  a, b are two distinct prime numbers such that  ab > 0 .​
