10x+2y=20....1

5x-y=0....2

Multiplying equation 2 by 2,we get

10x-2y=0....3

Adding equation 1 and 3

10x+2y=20

+ 10x-2y=0

______________

20x=20

x=20/20

x=1

Substitute value of x=1 in equation 2

5(1)-y=0

5-y=0

-y=0-5

y=5

Solution is (x,y)=(1,5)
