Hii it's tom85

11^-3 - (2x +10) = 1

1/ 1331 - 1 = 2x + 10

- 1330/1331 - 10 = 2x

-10.992/2 =X

X= 5 .496

Answer:

\left(11\right)-4\left(11\right)-\left(2x+10\right)=1\quad :\quad x=-22

Step-by-step explanation:

\left(11\right)-4\left(11\right)-\left(2x+10\right)=1

\gray{\mathrm{Remove\:parentheses}:\quad \left(a\right)=a}

11-4\times \:11-\left(2x+10\right)=1

\gray{\mathrm{Multiply\:the\:numbers:}\:4\times \:11=44}

11-44-\left(2x+10\right)=1

\gray{\mathrm{Subtract\:}11-44\mathrm{\:from\:both\:sides}}

11-44-\left(2x+10\right)-\left(11-44\right)=1-\left(11-44\right)

\gray{\mathrm{Simplify}}

-\left(2x+10\right)=34

\gray{\mathrm{Divide\:both\:sides\:by\:}-1}

\dfrac{-\left(2x+10\right)}{-1}=\dfrac{34}{-1}

\gray{\mathrm{Simplify}}

2x+10=-34

\gray{\mathrm{Subtract\:}10\mathrm{\:from\:both\:sides}}

2x+10-10=-34-10

\gray{\mathrm{Simplify}}

2x=-44

\gray{\mathrm{Divide\:both\:sides\:by\:}2}

\dfrac{2x}{2}=\dfrac{-44}{2}

\gray{\mathrm{Simplify}}

x=-22
