11. 500 people took part in a walkathon, 35% of them were children and the rest
were adults. How many adults took part in the walkathon?

Total people took part=500

Percent of children in them= 35%

So, number of children= 35% of 500

= 35/100×500 = 175 were children.

So adults were= 500-175

= 325.
