Answer: ITS EASY:

(11/9)³ x (9/11)⁻⁶ = (11/9)²ᵃ⁻¹.                                                                   Reciprocal of (9/11)⁻⁶ is (11/9)³*².

(11/9)³ x (11/9)³*² = (11/9)²ᵃ⁻¹

we know that a^b*a^c=a^b+c

∴(11/9)³ x (11/9)³*² can be written as (11/9)^3+6=(11/9)^9.

∴(11/9)^9.= (11/9)²ᵃ⁻¹

equate the bases,

9=2a-1

9+1=2a

10=2a

a=5

HOPE THIS HELPS.
