Answer:

he climbs a total of 4 metres and the time he takes to climb one metre is 5 seconds so then the answer is 53/4= 13 with remainder of 1 this means he took 13 x 5 metres +1 to climb the building which is = 66 seconds

Answer:

here is your answer...

THE PERSON CLIMBS 5m AND SLIPS 1m

TO CLIMB Im HE TAKES 5 SECONDS

SO FOR 5m HE TAKES 5x5= 25 SECONDS

AS HE SLIPS 1m FOR EVERY 5m CLIMB

IN EACH ATTEMPT HE CLIMBS 5-1=4 m in 25 SECONDS

TOTAL HEIGHT OF THE BUILDING= 53m

SO HE WILL NEED 53/4= 13 (remainder 1 ignored as he will not slip after the last climb)

SO, TIME TAKEN TO CLIMB THE BUILDING = 25x13=325 SECONDS

ANS:: 325 SECOND

hope it helps you...
