11.ABCD is a rhombus whose
diagonals intersect at 0. If AB
=10 cm, diagonal BD = 16 cm,
find the length of diagonal AC.

Solution:

As we know that the all the sides of a rhombus are equal

So, AD=10cm

By Pythagoras theorem,

AO^2+OD^2=AD^2

AO^2=AD^2-OD^2

=(10)^2-(8)^2

=(10+8)(10-8)

=18×2

AO=√36=6cm

Diagonal AC=6×2=12cm
