11. Bhoojo made the circuit shown in the figure. He wanted to observe what happens
when an electric current passes through water. But he forgot to add a few drops of
lemon juice to water.
Will it make any difference in his observations depending upon the quality of
water?
What would happen if he adds lomon juice to water?
13 What are the conditions required for the growth of microorganisms? Name/state
any two ways to spoilage?

Answer: 1st = yes change in observation because the tap water is a good conductor of electricity but if he is is checking with normal water so when you will add lemon juice in it it will become a good conductor

Answer: 2nd = Many microbes require a high water activity and therefore keeping foods such as grains and cereal products dry will help to preserve them. Some microbes require oxygen, others are killed by oxygen, and still others are facultative.

Answer:

11: bhoojo will notice that the solution is less conductive because acid is a good conductor if he had put more lemon juice than the solution will be more effective conductor.

He will observe that water having more minerals are powerful conductors but less minerals water is less effective conductors.

13: in order to grow successfully microorganism must have supply of water, minerals, and numerous other substances like gas (nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide).
