Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

To FInd the Area of the following polygon, you will have to add the areas of all the shapes that have been divided inside this polygon:

So, firstly lets take out the area of the rectangle:

Area of rectangle= L x B

L= 10 cm

B= 5 cm

So, Area = 10 x 5 = 50 cm^2

Now, the Area of the triangle  :

Area of Triangle= \frac{1}{2}× base x height

so, \frac{1}{2} x 5 x 5 = 12.5 cm^2

Area of the second triangle:

Area of triangle= \frac{1}{2}× base x height

So,  \frac{1}{2}× 6 x height

Here, height is not given but since we can see that half of the height is measuring 5 cm so if we add one more half it will be 10cms.. so the height of this triangle is 10cms

So,  \frac{1}{2}× 6 x 10 = 30cm^2

now the last figure, i.e Square:

Area of square = SxS i.e Side x Side

SO, Side= 6cms hence Area= 6 x 6 = 36 cm^2

Final area of the polygon= 50+12.5+30+36 = 128.5

Hence, the area of the polygon is 128.5 cm^2

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU :)
