{ \underbrace{  \pink{ \bf{Required \:  Answer : }}}}

Given :

  • Length of rectangle is 5 cm
  • Breadth of rectangle is 12 cm

To Find :

  • Length of the diagonal ?

We know :

\qquad\underset{\red{\bf Pythagoras\ \: Theorem}}{\underbrace{\boxed{ \blue{ \bf{ AC^2 = AB^2 + BC^2}}}}}

  • Now, Substitute the value :-

→{ \sf{ AC ^2 = 12 {}^{2}  + 5 {}^{2}} }

→{ \sf{ AC {}^{2}  = 144 + 25}}

→ { \sf{AC {}^{2}  = 169}}

→ { \sf{AC \:  =  \sqrt{169} }}

→{ \sf{ AC \:  = 13}}

∴{ \blue{ \boxed{ \sf{Length \:  of \:  diagonal  \: is \:  13  \: cm}}}}

Hence, The (IV) option is correct.
