11. In the given figure, AB II CD, 2 = 120° + x and 6 = 6x. Find the measure of 2 and 6.​

Answer:

Since, angle 2 and 6 are corresponding angles they will be equal.

Hence,

Angle 2 = Angle 6

120°+x = 6x

x-6x=-120°

-5x=-120°

x= 120/5. ( the minus signs will cancel out each other since they are in the same line )

x=24°

By putting values,

2= 120°+x

= 120°+24°

= 144°

And,

6= 6x

= 6(24°)

= 144°
