Read the extract given below and answer the questions that follow:
a. Inspite of having travelled all over the world- Khansaab as he is fondly called – is exceedingly
fond of Benaras and Dumraon and they remain for him the most wonderful towns of the world.

(ii) Why was Benaras and Dumraon the most wonderful town for Khansaab?
(iii) Why did Khansaab travel the world?
b. “What’ll I do if I have a nightmare?” she asked. “I often have nightmares and then Grannie
takes me into her bed – I can’t stay in the dark-it all gets ‘whispery’…

(iii) Why do you think the speaker has nightmares?

a (i) Bismillah Khan is referred 'khansaab'.
(ii) Because in Benaras he practised playing the prestigious shehnai at the bank of the ganga river, the flowing water I him to improvise and invent raagas that were earlier considered to be beyond the range of the shehnai
and he always miss the dumarao when he was in Benaras the unique matha of dumaraon that's why these two places remain most wonderful towns of the world for him.
(iii)he visited all over the world to give performances and concerts of shehnai to create the unique environment of shehnai music.
b (i) kezia is the speaker of the above lines
(ii) The word 'nightmare' means those bad dreams , mostly used to come.
(iii)The speaker has nightmares as her father is too strict I'm respect to her because one night when her Grannie is gone to the hospital to take care of the speaker's mother she left with her father and at the midnight she was shouting a butcher -a knife - I want Grannie!!
