Step-by-step explanation:

given: d1 = 100 mm , d2 = 200 mm, n1 = 300 rpm

n2 = ?

n1 d1 = n2 d2

=> 300 × 100 = 200 × n2

=> n2 = [300 × 100] / 200

=> n2 = 150 rpm

Given,

The diameter of the driver\[ = 100\,{\rm{mm}}\]

The RPM of the driver pulley\[ = 300\]

The diameter of the driver\[ = 200\,{\rm{mm}}\]

Solution,

Assume that the speed of the driven pulley is \[x\] rpm.

Therefore,

\[\begin{array}{l} \Rightarrow 300 \times 100 = 200 \times x\\ \Rightarrow x = \frac{{300 \times 100}}{{200}}\\ \Rightarrow x = 150\end{array}\]

Hence, the speed of the driven pulley is \[150\] RPM.
