The weight is 20kgs.

Given:

Weight of three ducks and two ducklings = 32kg

Weight of four ducks and three ducklings = 44kg

To find:

Weight of two ducks and one duckling?

Solution:

Let the weight of Duck be = D

Let the weight of Duckling be = d

Therefore, as per the question -

3D + 2d = 32 -- eq 1

4D + 3d = 44 -- eq2

Multiplying eq 1 by 3 and Multiplying eq 2 by 2

Therefore -

9D + 6d = 96

8D + 6d = 88

D = 8

Substituting the value in eq 1

= 3(8) + 2d = 32

24 + 2d = 32

2d = 8

d = 4

Thus,

2 ( 8 ) + 1 ( 4)

= 16 + 4

= 20

Answer: The weight is 20kgs.
