A big yes because there were many positive contributions made by the british in India as per follows:

• It was due to the britishers that India had awakening in educational and constitutional fields.
• Britishers abolished the sati which was resented by indians but it was far better contribution.
• Britishers also passed the widow remarriage act which allowed the widows to marry again.
• Britishers introduced our india with different means of communication and transport.

There were many more contributions that were seemed to be positive but above mentioned are some of the important positive contributions made by the britishers.
