=462
the total no.of girls =700
then , total no.of girls pass=(700×30)/100
=210
total no.of students=1100+700=1800
total no of students pass=210+462=672
the percentage of students who passed=(672/1800)×100=37.3
the total no.of students percentage who failed in examination=100-37.3)62.6(ans)
