Initial velocity, u = 0

Acceleration, a = 10 m/s^2

distance \: travelled \: in \:  {2}^{nd}  \: second = 0 + 10(2 -  \frac{1}{2} ) \\  = 0 + 10( \frac{4 - 1}{2} ) \\  = 10 \times  \frac{3}{2}  \\  = 5 \times 3 = 15 \: m
