Answer:

1st Case:

Speed = 48 km/h

Time = 5 hrs 30 minutes = 5.5 hours

Distance = Speed × Time

= 48 × 5.5

= 264 km

2nd Case:

Distance = 264 km

Speed = 20 m/s = 20 ×18/5 = 72 km/h

Time = Distance/Speed

= 264/72

= 3.66 hours

Time taken to complete same journey at a speed of 20 m/s is 3.66 hours.

Answer:

speed 1 = 48km/hr

time 1 = 5.5 hr.

distance = speed × time

= 48× 5.5 km

= 264 km

speed 2= (20×5)/18 km/hr

=10/3 km/hr

time 2 = distance ÷ speed 2

= ( 264) ÷ 10/3 hr.

= 79.2 hr

=79hours 12minutes

Therefore, with second speed journey will take 79 hours and 12 minutes.
