Answer:

6400

Step-by-step explanation:

6400sqft

Step-by-step explanation:

Let parameter of square = A

And Let Side Of a Sqaure be X

So, Parameter of Sqaure = 4X

Let distance Covered by man be D

therefore distance covered by man Is eqaul to parameter of sqaure..

so ,

4X = D

Speed Of Man be S which is 8meter per sec

and time taken by man in sec is 90 seconds

so D = SxT

D= 8 x90 = 720

According to this

D = 4X =720

4X =720

X = 720/4 = 180

side of sqaure is = 180 = X

and Area Of That sqaure is side sqaure which is

6400sqaurefeet

Given:-

  • A man is running along the side of a square.
  • Speed of man = 8 m/s.
  • Time taken to cover perimeter once = 1min 30sec.

To find:-

  • The area of square.

Solution:-

We know,

Distance = Speed×Time

Where,

  • Speed = 8m/s

As it is given 1 min 30sec and,

→1 min = 60 sec then,

→1 min 30 sec = 60 + 30 = 90 sec

Hence,

  • Time = 90 sec
  • Distance = ?

Putting the values in the formula,

⇒Distance = 8 × 90

               = 720m

Given that the man is running along the side of a square.Hence,

→Perimeter = Distance

Using the formula,

Perimeter of square = 4s

Where,

  • Perimeter = 720m
  • s = side = ?

Putting the values in the formula,

⇒ 720 = 4×s

⇒s = 720/4

⇒ s = 180m

∴ Side of the square is 180m

Using the formula,

Area of square = s²

Where,

  • s = side = 180m
  • Area = ?

Putting the values in the formula,

⇒ Area = s²

⇒ Area = (180)²

⇒ Area = 32400m²

Therefore,

The area of square is 32400m².
