Given,

Height  = 2.4cm

Base = 10cm

Length of its one diagonal = 8cm

To Find,

Area =?

Length of other diagonal =?

Solution,

We know from the formula of the area of rhombus that,

Area of rhombus = 1 /2 * (Product of its 2 diagonal) = Base * Height

Area of rhombus = Base * Height = 10 * 2.4

Area of rhombus = 10  * 2.4

Area of rhombus =  24 cm^2

From the same formula,

1 /2 * (Product of its 2 diagonal) = Base * Height

1/2 *(8 * Length of other diagonal) = 10 * 2.4

4 * Length of other diagonal = 24

Length of other diagonal = 24 / 4

Length of other diagonal = 6 cm

Hence,  the area of the rhombus is 24 cm^2 , and the length of the other diagonal of the rhombus is 6 cm.
