12. From a square metallic sheet of side 60 cm, a circle of maximum size was cut out. Find the area of the remaining metallic sheet. (Take Tt = 3.14)​

So, Diameter of circle - Side of Metallic sheet

Maximum circle cut out

Diameter = 60 cm

Radius = 60/2 = 30cm

Area of circle = 3-14 X 30x30

3.14 x 900 = 2826 cm²

Area of Square = S*S = 60x60 = 3600 cm²

Area of remaining metallic sheet =

Area of Square - Area of circle=3600 - 2826 = 744cm²
