In ∆ABC & ∆PQR,

AB=PQ. (GIVEN)

Angle ABC = Angle PQR.

(as AB perpendicular to BC & PQ perpendicular to RQ)

as,. BR=CQ

BR+CR= CQ+ CR

BC=QR

( as equal are added to equals then whole are equal to one another)

so,. ∆ABC≈∆PQR. ( by SAS criteria)

therefore, AC = PR
