12. The mass of 50 cm3 milk is 51.5 g. Find density

Density=Mass/volume

a) d=51.5g/50cm3 = 1.03gm-3

b)first convert g into kg. for that use unitary method that is-

1000g = 1kg

1g = 1/1000 kg

51.5 g = 1/1000 * 51.5 kg = 0.0515 kg ------(1)

similarly for cm3 to m3

100cm =1 m

1cm = 1/100 m

now 50 (cm)3 = 50 cm *cm *cm = 50 * (1/100 m)3= 50* 1/1000000 m3 -----------(2)

to find density divide equation (1) by (2)

d= (0.0515) / (50* 1/1000000) kgm-3

=1.03 * 10^-9 kgm-3
