12. The perimeter of a square is 60m, find:-
(i) it's area
s new area obtained on increasing each of it's sides by 2cm.​

perimeter of square 9 = 4 × length of side ....

so , 4 × 60 = 240

perimeter = 0 .

perimeter of square=4×side

60=4×side

side=15.

area of square=15×15

=225

After increasing side by 2cm

side+2=15+2/100 m

=1500+2/100

=1502/100

=15.02 m

new area=15.02×15.02

=225.6m
