Answer:

45,257.14285 cm (Approx.)

Step-by-step explanation:

To Find:

Distance covered in one minute

The Solution:

The radius of the circle= 24/2= 12cm.

In one second, 10 revolutions.

In one minute, 60 seconds= 60×10=600 revolutions

Number of revolutions= Distance covered in one minute/ Circumference of the circle

Circumference of a circle is given, by 2πr.

Let π be 22/7.

= 2×22/7×12= 44/7×12= 528/7 cm

No. of revolutions= Distance covered in one minute/ (528/7)

600= Distance covered in one minute/ (528/7)

600×528/7= Distance covered in one minute     ( Shifting 528/7 to the LHS)

316800/7= Distance covered in one minute

45,257.14285 cm (Approx.)= Distance covered in one minute.

☆Firstly, we've to find the circumference of the circular wheel which determines the distance in one revolution and we can multiply with 10 to find the distance covered in 10 revolutions as:-

  • Diameter of wheel = 24 cm
  • r = 24/2 = 12 cm

 \\ \dag \ {\red{\pmb{\underline{\boxed{\sf{ Circumference_{(Circle)} = 2πr }}}}}} \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ 2 \times 3.14 \times 12 \times 10 }} \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ 753.6 \ cm }} \\

So, We have find that wheel will covers 753.6 cm of distance in 10 revolutions that it make per second.

Actual Concept  \bigstar

We know that,

 \implies{\blue{\pmb{\underline{\boxed{\sf{ 1 \ Minute = 60 \ seconds }}}}}}

Now, we can find the Total distance covered in one minutes as:-

 \colon\mapsto{\sf{ 753.6 \times 60 }} \\ \\ \colon\mapsto{\sf{ 45216 \ cm }} \\

Hence,

Wheel will cover 45216 cm of distance in One minute.
