Given:-

Two concentric circles with radii r1= 14 cm and r2= 7cm

To Find:-

  • the area of space between 2 concentric circles

For Information:-

* Concentric circles are circles with a common center. The region between two concentric circles of different radii is called an annulus.

area \: of \: circle =

\huge\tt\pink{\boxed{\tt{\blue{ → \pi \times  {r}^{2} }}}}

Solution:-

for finding the space between the two concentric circles, we just subtract the area of circle 1 with circle 2

So,

area \: of \: space \: between \: 2 \: cocentric \: circle = \pi( {r1}^{2} -  {r2}^{2})

→\pi( {14}^{2} -  {7}^{2})cm²

→\pi(196 {cm}^{2}   -49 {cm}^{2} )

→ \frac{22}{7}  \times 147 {cm}^{2}

→22 \times 21 {cm}^{2}

→462 {cm}^{2}
