-5/2 is subtracted from - 5/3 to get 5/6

 \frac{ - 5}{3}  - x =  \frac{5}{6}  \\  - x =  \frac{5}{6}  +  \frac{5}{3}  \\  - x =  \frac{15 + 30}{18}  \\ x =    - \frac{45}{18}  =  - \frac{5}{2}
