21.Answer:

Angle of elevation is 60 °

Foot of the ladder is 9.5 m away from the wall

Constructing a right angled triangle we get :

Base =9.5m=95/10=19/2 m

Angle between hypotenuse and base = 60 °

Cos θ=base/hypotenuse

Cos 60 °=(19/2) / hypo.

on solving the equation we get hyp.=19m

Hypotenuse=length of the ladder
