1225 plants are to be planted in a garden in such a way that each row contains as many plants as the number of rows. Find the number of rows and the number of plants in each row.​

  • No of Plants in each row is equals to No of Rows in the Garden.

To Find:

  • The number of rows and the number of plants in each row.

Solution:

Let, No of Rows be x

Then,

No of plants in a Row = x

According To Sum

→\;{\sf{x.x = 1225}}

→\;{\sf{x² = 1225}}

→\;{\sf{x = \sqrt{1225}}}

→\;{\sf{x = \sqrt{35²}}}

→\;{\sf{x = 35}}

AnSweR:

No of Rows ◕➜ \Large{\red{\mathfrak{35}}}

No of Plants in each row ◕➜ \Large{\pink{\mathfrak{35}}}

According to the sum

x•x = 1225

x² = 1225

x = √1225

x = √35²

x = 35
