Dear Students,

◆ Answer with explaination -

Sum total of all potentials initially is -

V' = n.V

V' = 125 × 220

V' = 27500 V

Potential of bigger drop is -

V" = V.n^(2/3)

V" = 220 × 125^(2/3)

V" = 220 × 25

V" = 5500 V

Change in total potential is -

∆V = V" - V'

∆V = 5500 - 27500

∆V = -22000 V

Therefore, total potential decreased by 22000 V.

Change in energy of drops can't be calculated because capacitance is not given.
