\textbf{Answer}

125 people have sufficient food for 18 days.

Suppose every person eats x amount of food every day.

=> Total amount of food eaten by 125 pepole in 18 days = 125 × 18 × x

Now 25 more people join.

So total number of people now is 150.

Suppose 150 people take y days to finish total food.

Since the amount of food eaten in both situations is same,

=> y = (125 × 18 × x) ÷ (150 × x)

=> y = 2250 ÷ 150

=> y = 15

So if 25 more people join,they will take just 15 days to finish the food.

\textbf{Given that ,}

\textbf{125 people} have sufficient food for = 18 days.

\textbf{125 people = 18 days}

□ 25 people join more in them.
So , the total people = 125 + 25
=> \textbf{150 people.}

♧ Let's suppose the food will continue => \textbf{" x " days}

□ 150 people = " x " days

♧ Since the number of \textbf{soldiers increases} and the \textbf{ days decreases.}

According to the question ,

=> 125 × 18 = 150 * x

=> 2550 = 150x

=> x = 2550 / 150

=> x = 15

♧ Hence , after joining \textbf{25 more people} in \textbf{125 people} the the will be sufficient for \textbf{15 days.}

\textbf{Thanks !!!}
