125 pupils have food sufficient for 18 days.
Hence,
1 pupil have food sufficient for ( 18 * 125 ) days.
On solving we get,
1 pupil have food sufficient for 2250 days.
Now since 25 more people join,
Total number of pupils = 125 + 25 = 150
Hence, we have to calculate that how long will the food last if 150 people will be consuming it.
Therefore we will divide 2250 by 150,
150 pupils have food sufficient for ( 2250 / 150 ) days.
On simplifying we get,
150 pupils have food sufficient for 15 days.
