Given Equation is 2(x + y)^2 + (x - y)^2

2(x^2 + y^2 + 2xy) + (x^2 + y^2 - 2xy)

2x^2 + 2y^2 + 4xy + x^2 + y^2 - 2xy

3x^2 + 3y^2 + 2xy

3(x^2 + y^2) + 2(xy)

3(34) + 2(10 \frac{1}{2} )

102 + 2( \frac{21}{2} )

102 + 21

123

Therefore the value = 123.

Hope this helps!
