write 3.2525252525... as a fraction

n=3.252525...

multiply both sides by 100 (because the repetend consists of 2 digits and 102=100)(the repetend is what repeats)

100n=325.252525...

100n=325.252525...

n= 3.252525...

99n=322.0

n=322/99 or as a mixed number...

n=3 25/99

you could have just worked with 0.252525... and put in the 3 after

in reality you will learn by looking at patterns that if there is no lag (what precedes the repetend) you can simply do the following but your teacher would probably want to see the work !!!

0.777...=7/9

0.363636...=36/99=4/11

0.123123123...=123/999=41/333
