  • The expression is; 13- 46- 8-180+ 210+ 75 = 64
  • m-n = -1

GIVEN

13_46_8_180_210_75 = 64

TO FIND

use + and – in the empty places to make the equation holds good.

SOLUTION

We are given a mathematical expression in wich we have to fill in the blanks with appropriate mathematical operation.

The given expression is -

13_46_8_180_210_75 = 64

For the equation to hold good, LHS should be equal to RHS

180 and 210 are larger numbers than 64 we will subtract them from each other.

So, We will add '-' before 180 ans + before 240

13_46_8-180+ 210_75 = 64

Now, We will add '-' 13 and '46' and 46 and 8

13- 46- 8-180+ 210_75 = 64

Now will will add '+' between 210 and 75

13- 46- 8-180+ 210+ 75 = 64

Solving the above equation;

64 = 64.

m = 3

n = 4

Value of m-n = 3-4 = -1

Hence,

  • Hence, The expression is; 13- 46- 8-180+ 210+ 75 = 64
  • m-n = -1
