Given :
- Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s (as its starts from rest)
- Distance (s) = 10 m
- Time (t) = 2 seconds
To find :
- Acceleration (a)
According to the question,
By using Newtons second equation of motion,
→ s = ut + ½ at²
Where,
- s = Distance
- u = Initial velocity
- t = Time
- a = Acceleration
→ 10 = 0 × 2 + ½ × a × 2 × 2
→ 10 = 0 + 2a
→ 10 - 0 = 2a
→ 10 = 2a
→ 10 ÷ 2 = a
→ 5 = a
.°. The acceleration is 5 m/s²...

Acceleration :-
Acceleration of a body can be defined as the rate of change of velocity per unit time.
- SI unit is m/s²
- Formula for acceleration = v - u/t
- Acceleration is vector quantity.
